Warmth of the Fire
This is the story behind this post: http://moremeraki.com/assignments/story-using-only-sounds/
A man is staying in a cabin in the forest for a week to get away from society and recharge for a bit. But a snowstorm hits and he is left to fend for himself during the blizzard. The day after the storm, he sets out to get some wood to make a fire.
The story opens with him cutting down a medium-sized tree not far from his cottage. He doesn’t cut too long before the tree comes down. He carries it through the snow back to his cabin and chops the tree into smaller pieces to use for firewood.
He throws some of the wood into the fireplace, lights a match, and places the fire on the wood. It quickly catches ablaze, and spreads heat and light through the small room. Satisfied, the man sits by the fire and warms up, entranced by the dancing flames.
