I’ve always had ideas in my head of things I want to do before I die but I’ve never made an actual bucket list. When I finally get around to making one, I’ll be sure to add these four things first.

I would like to write a book one day. I’m decent at writing poems, short stories, and papers, but I want to challenge myself to write something longer. About what, I have no idea. Maybe a memoir/autobiography or a novel? We’ll have to see.

I’ve wanted to start a charity since I first learned what the word meant. My mom always used to tell me about her dream of starting a charity in Africa to get food and medical treatment to starving and malnourished children. I’m not sure what kind of charity I would like to open, but I think I want it to be here in the U.S.

I love to travel. It’s such an exciting and enriching way to learn about different cultures and lifestyles. We as human beings are curious by nature, and while the monotonous routines of everyday day sometimes diminishes this curiosity, traveling has always revitalized my inquisitiveness and love of learning. I’m not a big fan of the cold though, so I’m scratching Antarctica off my list.

Daring myself to do things I’m afraid of or that I’m not comfortable with is the best way for me to get out of my comfort zone and really experience what life has to offer. Skydiving is an excellent way to do this. I’ve been indoor skydiving and I loved it, so one day I can’t wait to do the real thing!
